Building Forma’s studio
A portfolio experience designed to position Forma as a forward-thinking creative studio work.

Project overview
Forma needed a website that could communicate its creative point of view while giving its growing portfolio enough room to breathe. The previous site relied heavily on static layouts and did not make it easy to showcase new work.
We built a flexible portfolio system focused on large visuals, clear storytelling, and expressive transitions. Each project now has its own space while still feeling connected to the wider Forma identity.
Our approach
We began by defining a flexible visual system that could adapt to different project types without making the portfolio feel repetitive. Large imagery, editorial typography, and generous spacing became the foundation of the new experience.
Key points:
Developed a flexible portfolio system
Created editorial layouts
Improved project storytelling
Designed modular case study pages
Introduced expressive transitions
Simplified CMS management
The results
Forma now has a portfolio that feels much closer to the quality and personality of its studio work. Projects are easier to explore, and visitors can quickly understand the thinking behind each piece.
The flexible CMS also means the team can continue publishing new work without needing to redesign the site every time. The result is a stronger platform for showcasing the studio as it grows.
